Magione is a municipality of the province of Perugia situated on a hill on the Eastern bank of Lake Trasimeno.
The small town overlooks a plain known as the Pian di Carpine, in Italian hornbeam plain, named after the hornbeam forests which once covered it.

GETTING TO MAGIONE

BY CAR From the Perugia-Bettolle motorway slip road:
	those coming from Perugia: exit at Magione and follow the signs for Magione city centre (centro)
	those coming from Tuscany: exit at Torricella and follow the signs for Magione city centre (centro)

BY TRAIN There are 2 possible routes:
	Take the Milano - Firenze - Roma line and get off at Magione station
	Take the Ancona - Foligno - Terontola line and get off at Magione station
